At the international industrial exhibition "Innoprom-2026", a new specialized vehicle for overhead line maintenance was presented. The vehicle was developed by the Ural Automobile Plant, using the all-wheel drive chassis "Ural-80" with a 4x4 wheel arrangement as its base.
The novelty is designed for emergency services performing repair and maintenance of overhead lines in difficult conditions. The special vehicle is equipped with a rotating lifting platform that allows specialists to be raised to a height of up to 8.5 meters. The maximum lifting capacity of the working platform is 500 kg, which makes it possible to simultaneously lift personnel along with the necessary tools and equipment.
One of the key features of the machine is a vertical emergency ladder made of dielectric material. It provides electrical insulation up to 1000 V, increasing safety when performing work on power supply facilities.
The use of the all-wheel drive chassis "Ural-80" allows the special vehicle to reach accident sites on roads with poor surfaces and rough terrain.
