Ufa Engine Plant for Su-57 Threatened with Bankruptcy for the Fourth Time in Six Months

The new lawsuit against ODK-UMPO is related to a debt of almost 39 million rubles

The Ufa plant ODK-UMPO, which produces engines for Russian Su-57, Su-35S, Su-30, and Su-27 fighters, is once again facing a bankruptcy lawsuit. This is the fourth such notification since the beginning of 2026.

This time, the Ulyanovsk company "Interstankoservis" announced its intention to appeal to the Arbitration Court of Bashkiria. The basis was a debt under a 2024 contract.

By court decision, the enterprise is to pay 438.5 thousand euros, which at the current exchange rate is about 39 million rubles, as well as interest and legal costs.

UMPO's financial performance last year was significantly weaker than in previous years. By the end of 2025, the plant reported a net loss of 14.3 billion rubles, while a year earlier it showed a profit of almost 8 billion rubles. Revenue also decreased to 121.7 billion rubles.
