The new iPhone hasn't been shown yet, but it's already asking for a million: pre-orders have opened in Russia

Caviar offers four luxury versions of Apple's anticipated foldable smartphone

Apple has not yet unveiled its first foldable iPhone, but Russian Caviar has already opened pre-orders for its luxury versions. This is not about a ready-made smartphone, but about a custom for the anticipated iPhone Ultra – the company offers to choose a design and fix the price in advance.

The "Flagship" collection consists of four variants: "Titanium", "Silver", "Dark Cherry", and "Gold". The most affordable version starts from 849 thousand rubles, while the top-end variant with 1 TB of memory will cost 1.019 million rubles.

Crocodile leather, carbon fiber, 925 sterling silver, and gold are used for the casing. For the "Gold" version, the Apple logo is promised to be made of 750 gold, and the design itself will be dedicated to the company's 50th anniversary.

Caviar expects the future Ultra to be a foldable book-style smartphone with an external screen and a flexible display inside. But Apple has not yet confirmed the model name, its specifications, or the release date.

The whole story looks like selling a place in line for a device that doesn't exist yet. The company promises a limited edition and price fixation at the time of order – even before Apple reveals what its foldable iPhone will actually be like.
