Information has appeared online about a new modification of the "Molniya" unmanned aerial vehicle. According to preliminary estimates, the updated version features a modified design, increased payload capacity, and its estimated flight range now exceeds 100 kilometers.
It is reported that an anti-tank mine TM-62 weighing about 10 kilograms is used as a payload. This warhead has already been used in previous versions of the drone, being among the standard equipment options.
Changes in design and the presumed increase in flight range indicate further development of the "Molniya" drone family. However, detailed technical specifications of the new version have not yet been disclosed.
Earlier, "Pervyy Tekhnicheskiy" reported that a huge number of "Molniya" family drones with immunity to EW were handed over to the military. All units of the Russian army were provided with these drones.
