Russian UAVs received communication that continues to work under EW influence

The new radio link automatically reconfigures itself under interference and maintains drone control

One of the main reasons for the loss of modern drones remains electronic warfare systems. Now, Russia has introduced a communication system that is designed to solve this very problem.

Rosel Holding (part of Rostec) has developed a new radio communication system for unmanned aerial systems. It provides a stable control channel, telemetry, and video transmission even under active electronic warfare conditions. The development was first showcased at the "Engineers of the Future" forum.

The main feature of the complex is its ability to automatically change operating parameters during flight. If one radio channel is suppressed, the system independently reconfigures the data transmission speed and operating frequency without interrupting communication with the drone.

The main advantage of our system's radio links is adaptation in terms of data transmission speed and frequency, combined with a pseudo-random frequency hopping mode. This allows real-time adjustment to interference conditions and continued data transmission or drone control.

In fact, this is a technology that allows the drone to maintain control even when the radio channel is jammed by EW systems. Communication stability is considered one of the key factors for the effectiveness of modern UAVs today.
