Engineers at Minsk Tractor Works (OAO "MTZ") have developed a lightweight BELARUS 451 tractor for the Indonesian market. This was announced by Taras Murog, General Director of the Belarusian enterprise, on the sidelines of a business forum in Jakarta.
Indonesian agriculture is characterized by small plots – up to 50 ares. We very much hope that this lightweight model will capture its market share.
BELARUS 451 has already successfully passed tests. It can be used for work in rice fields.
Murog emphasized that the lightweight tractor model differs from the one used in Belarus. MTZ offered Indonesia to supply not only agricultural machinery but also attachments for it.
The company's management plans to send a large batch of BELARUS 451 to the Asian country in 2027. However, Murog did not disclose specific figures.
