Rostec presented the TM-140 all-terrain tracked vehicle – a tracked machine designed for operation in northern conditions, off-road, and extremely low temperatures – to participants of the "Engineers of the Future" forum.
The development was brought to the forum near Tula by the "High-Precision Systems" holding. The TM-140 is positioned as equipment capable of performing tasks in the most challenging climatic conditions, including northern regions.
The all-terrain tracked vehicle is entirely assembled from Russian components. It is used in the oil and gas and energy industries, as well as in geological exploration and even in reindeer herding.
Such equipment is in service with search and rescue units of the EMERCOM in Komi, Yakutia, Murmansk and Arkhangelsk regions, as well as in Chukotka and Krasnoyarsk Krai.
More than 900 TM-140 all-terrain tracked vehicles have been produced in total, and their production continues.
