Electric river trams "Vologodskie Zori" and "Vologzhanin" launched in Vologda

Innovative passenger vessels of project EM2108 "Moyka 2.0" were built at the "Emperium" shipyard in the Leningrad Region

Electric passenger vessels "Vologodskie Zori" and "Vologzhanin" (project EM2108 "Moyka 2.0") have started operating in Vologda. They were built at the "Emperium" shipyard (Otradnoye, Leningrad Region).

This is no longer a classic pleasure fleet in the usual sense, but innovative electric transport with a fundamentally new level of comfort and perception.

The key advantages of the river trams are their virtually silent operation and zero emissions. The vessels are designed for tourist excursions along narrow rivers and canals with low bridges. The total capacity of stationary power sources and accumulators is 560 A*h.

Characteristics of project EM2108 "Moyka 2.0" vessels:

  • Length — 16.5 m
  • Width — 4 m
  • Board height — 1.3 m
  • Draft — 0.8 m
  • Passenger capacity — 38 people

In total, 3 motor ships were built as part of project EM2108 "Moyka 2.0". The lead vessel "Kanareyka" began operation in 2025.
