Rostec presented a mobile airspace control system (SKVP) that is placed on a car trailer or directly on a car – for example, on a pickup truck. The solution allows for quick deployment of the complex at the desired point to monitor the air situation. The development was first shown by the High Precision Systems holding company within the framework of the International Youth Forum "Engineers of the Future".
It is expected that the development will be of interest not only to state structures but also to civilian customers, including enterprises of the fuel and energy complex.
The SKVP is capable of tracking aircraft, including small-sized drones, determining their type, flight altitude, and distance, as well as detecting objects moving at low altitudes, Rostec stated.
The main advantage is the autonomy and mobility of the system, thanks to which it can be quickly deployed to monitor the air situation.
