MTZ has completed operational tests of the new BELARUS 2303 tracked tractor. The machine successfully performed in agriculture without any complaints from operators and is now preparing for the next stage of approbation before being put into production.
Operational tests took place in the agricultural workshop "Gainа", where the tractor performed pre-sowing soil cultivation and participated in silage compaction. During the inspection, BELARUS 2303 worked with a wide-grip cultivator KShM-10 and a disc harrow Rubin 9. According to the test results, specialists did not record any complaints about the machine's operation, but testing will continue to confirm its resource and operational characteristics.
The new modification appeared at the request of Russian consumers who needed a tracked tractor with an engine from the Yaroslavl Motor Plant. This solution simplifies equipment maintenance and allows for localized assembly.
After installing the YAMZ-53645-A41 diesel engine, the machine's power increased to 225 hp, and its traction capabilities became higher. It was after this modernization that the tractor received a new designation – BELARUS 2303.
At the same time, designers and engineers updated the machine's appearance. The tractor received new alligator-type cladding, made in the corporate style of BELARUS TRACTORS.
BELARUS 2303 belongs to the fourth traction class and is designed to work with mounted, semi-mounted, and trailed agricultural implements with a traction resistance of 36 to 45 kN. The machine is also intended for operation on waterlogged soils.
Serial production of the new BELARUS 2303 is planned to be organized at the Mozyr Machine-Building Plant.
