Almost every fifth Russian trusts their finances to artificial intelligence - survey

About 20% of Russians use artificial intelligence (AI) to solve financial issues, and another 36.5% use its help to collect and analyze information. This is confirmed by the results of a survey conducted by specialists from SberStrakhovanie Zhizni.

How AI helps with finances and how many respondents use these services:

  • Analysis of initial data for decision-making — 25%
  • Formation of an investment portfolio — 13.5%
  • Selection of savings products — 12.5%
  • Analysis of income and expenses — 10%

Despite the interest in AI in the financial sector, Russians are cautious with it. In particular, 38% of respondents are afraid of erroneous recommendations, 14.5% of respondents do not rule out advertising and distortion of information, and 8% do not understand on what basis AI makes conclusions.

For now, Russians trust banks the most — 40% listen to recommendations from financial institutions. 15% of citizens make decisions independently.
