The digital service for searching and buying real estate, DomClick (owned by Sberbank), is testing an AI agent (an artificial intelligence-based program) to select housing for users instead of conventional recommendation algorithms. This was announced by Alexey Leipy, Director of the DomClick Department. According to him, this method significantly reduces the decision-making time for a transaction.
Leipy emphasized that the AI agent provides a "crazy effect".
A person coming to our platform to find housing gets the result they truly need three times faster.
Leipy explained that conventional real estate websites use classifieds with recommendation algorithms. These are based on the user's search history.
If a potential client is interested in a bright advertisement, for example, for apartments, but in reality is looking for an apartment for a large family, the system "breaks down" and stops understanding their needs.
DomClick's AI agent directly "communicates" (like a chatbot) with the buyer and finds a solution, Leipy added. The application of generative neural networks in real estate in the next 2 years could "completely transform the market," he concluded.
