Rostec State Corporation has completed acceptance tests of the new APN-30 power unit, designed for autonomous power supply of facilities remote from centralized power grids. The development is already being prepared for pilot industrial operation.
The main application area for APN-30 will be oil and gas fields located in remote areas where connection to the general power system is difficult or economically unfeasible.
The new, more productive APN-30 power unit is an entirely Russian development, created 100% from domestic components and materials.
After the completion of tests, the power unit will be sent to an automatic gas distribution station in the Krasnodar Territory, where it will undergo a stage of pilot industrial operation in real conditions.
