Design of the compact crossover Tenet Plus L4 revealed

The model features a panoramic roof, 17-inch wheels, and a diamond-pattern grille

A new compact crossover, the Tenet Plus L4, is being prepared for launch in Russia. The model will be the most affordable and smallest in the Tenet Plus brand lineup, a joint project between the Russian holding AGR and the Chinese company Defetoo. Sales are planned to begin in the third quarter of 2026, with production to be established at one of AGR's Russian plants.

The new L4 externally strongly resembles the Chinese crossover Lepas L4. This brand belongs to the Chery concern and is primarily aimed at foreign markets, including South Africa, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.

The Tenet Plus L4 features narrow LED daytime running lights. Another notable detail is the radiator grille with an unusual geometric pattern in the style of a "diamond pattern." The crossover also received a panoramic roof, roof rails, taillights with a luminous strip, and 17-inch alloy wheels. In terms of dimensions, the model is close to the Chery Tiggo 4.

The technical specifications of the Tenet Plus L4 have not yet been officially disclosed. However, the Chinese Lepas L4 is equipped with a 1.5-liter engine with 147 horsepower and a six-speed robotic gearbox. The same unit is currently installed on the Tenet T4.

In the Russian market, the Tenet Plus L4 will find itself in a very competitive segment. Among its analogues are the Volga K40, Jeland J6, Geely Coolray, and Haval Jolion.
