For the first time, the production of a bionic elbow prosthesis is being launched in Russia. The "Motorika" group of companies undertook the development with the support of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and the SME Corporation. The prosthesis is expected to be the first Russian product of this type.
To launch and develop production, the company attracted 1 billion rubles in preferential financing. The funds are provided under a program for small technology companies by SME Bank – a subsidiary of the SME Corporation, which acts as the program operator.
The money will be used to increase the capacity of the production site in the "Technopolis Moscow" special economic zone. The financing will also go towards the development of the production circuit based at the "Special Equipment Plant".
In addition, "Motorika" plans to expand its network of mobility recovery centers. This direction is related to helping people who need modern prostheses and subsequent adaptation.
Since 2022, more than 400 small technology companies have received support under the program of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and the SME Corporation, totaling 65.7 billion rubles.
