In Udmurtia, Supercam, a company part of the "Besopilotnye Sistemy" group, plans to build a new research and production facility for the development and manufacturing of drones. The project will be implemented in the Kiyasovsky district after two land plots totaling 87,000 sq. m are reclassified from agricultural to industrial use.
The "Besopilotnye Sistemy" group of companies (Izhevsk), under the Supercam brand, develops a line of unmanned aerial vehicles of various types, including fixed-wing, multirotor, and hybrid platforms. The fixed-wing UAV segment includes the S100 model with a 1 m wingspan and up to 1.5 hours of flight time, the S150 with a modular architecture, the flagship S350 with a range of over 240 km, and the modernized S350M with an FPV drone suppression system.
The multirotor direction includes the X4 quadcopter, designed for light tasks and cargo delivery, as well as the X6M2 hexacopter with a flight duration of up to 55 minutes. The hybrid line is represented by the SX300H and SX350 convertiplanes, which combine vertical take-off and landing with long-duration high-speed flight. These aircraft can stay airborne for about 2 hours with a 3.2 m wingspan and are used for monitoring extended objects, patrolling, and environmental control.
The new facility is expected to expand the company's production capacity amid growing demand for unmanned aerial systems.
Earlier, "Pervy Tekhnichesky" reported that Supercam S180 and SX350 drones received support from a new mobile command complex. The system allows for drone control deployment in the field without being tied to stationary infrastructure.
