The OWS-ADS active distribution system, designed for use with professional wireless microphone systems, has entered the Russian market. The new product allows one pair of antennas to be used for several receivers at once, simplifying audio infrastructure deployment and reducing radio interference.
The device was developed by Oktava DM, a technological partner of Rostec. The system supports connecting up to four dual-antenna OWS-U2200R PRO receivers or two four-antenna OWS-U2200R receivers. Moreover, the equipment not only distributes the radio signal but also powers the connected receivers.
The solution is aimed at venues with a large number of wireless channels, where the traditional scheme with separate antennas for each receiver creates interference and complicates installation. OWS-ADS allows transmitting a signal from a single antenna pair to a group of receivers, maintaining system stability and reducing the number of cables.
To expand the configuration, cascading outputs are provided, through which additional receivers can be connected or several distribution systems can be combined. The built-in amplifier compensates for signal losses that occur during branching and the use of long cable lines, which is especially important for concert halls, stadiums, and large stage complexes.
The company notes that the new development has become part of the ecosystem of professional wireless solutions and is designed for rental organizations, integrators, TV projects, theaters, educational institutions, and corporate venues, where the reliability of radio channels and the ability to scale the system without a significant increase in costs are critically important.
