The State Tretyakov Gallery is modernizing its IT infrastructure, which supports its official website, online ticket sales system, and the operation of the museum's key web resources. Yadro supplied the equipment for the project, the company told Kommersant.
The delivery included servers, data storage systems, and switches. They are being used as part of a long-term collaboration to update the Tretyakov Gallery's IT perimeter. The parties did not disclose the contract amount.
The project uses V240 four-processor enterprise-class servers. This platform supports up to 16 TB of DDR5 RAM through 64 slots and is designed for resource-intensive tasks: large virtual environments, web infrastructure, and backup systems.
The supplied equipment should ensure stable operation of the website, online tickets, and load balancing for important museum resources. This is especially crucial during major exhibitions when visitor interest sharply increases and digital services experience increased load.
For the Tretyakov Gallery, the stability of digital services is especially important during the launch of major exhibition projects, when the load on the website and ticketing system significantly increases.
According to Kommersant's sources in the market, given the scale of the museum and its 15 branches across the country, the project may require more than a hundred units of various equipment. They estimate the total modernization at several hundred million to a billion rubles.
Experts note that such infrastructure is already close to an enterprise level. For a federal museum with high online traffic, fault tolerance, and security requirements, such solutions do not seem excessive, but rather a part of the transition of cultural organizations to a more serious digital perimeter.
