The military began practicing coordination on new T-90M "Proryv" tanks with special technical improvements. The combat vehicles received many small innovations.
Fire training exercises at one of the training grounds of the Southern Military District were conducted by crews of T-90M tanks, formed from military personnel undergoing retraining.
The "Proryvs" now feature a rear-view camera, air conditioning, and adjustable seats.
According to the training plan, the heavy vehicles advanced to the firing line and fired from a 125-mm cannon both from a standstill and on the move. The actions of the crews were coordinated using UAVs.
Andrey Terlikov, General Designer of Uralvagonzavod, confirmed that the "Proryv" will remain in the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces for at least several more decades. Engineers are almost continuously modernizing the T-90M.
Earlier, "Pervyy Tekhnicheskiy" compared top heavy armored vehicles by cruising range and identified the winner. The T-90M "Proryv" ranked second, losing to the Korean K2 Black Panther.
