New Russian underwater vehicle "Poseidronic" first presented at "FLOT-2026"

The device, based entirely on Russian components, is designed for seabed mapping and underwater object detection

The International Maritime Defense Show "FLOT-2026" saw the premiere of the autonomous underwater vehicle "Poseidronic", designed to solve complex underwater tasks. The development was presented by the Izhevsk Thermal Equipment Plant, which created the device and its key systems entirely on domestic components.

"Poseidronic" is capable of mapping the seabed, detecting objects at significant depths, and diagnosing the condition of underwater pipelines.

A distinctive feature of the project is the high degree of production localization. The production of sonar equipment, electronic components, and the assembly of the device are carried out in Izhevsk. The developers emphasize that all key technological solutions are based on Russian components produced at the enterprise's facilities.

A separate trademark, "Poseidronic", has been registered for the new line of underwater equipment. The company expects it to become a recognizable designation for domestic solutions in the underwater technology segment.
