Kalashnikov Concern showcased three latest developments at the International Maritime Defense Show FLEET-2026 in Kronstadt: high-speed boats BK-16 and BK-10, as well as the Khaska-10 hovercraft with flexible skegs. According to a representative of the concern, as reported by TASS, the transport and landing boat BK-16 is already performing tasks.
The BK-16 of project 02510 carries up to 19 paratroopers and develops a speed of up to 42 knots (about 77 km/h) with each of the two engines having a power of 1200 horsepower. The wheelhouse and troop compartment are armored, and the engines are protected. Armament: four 7.62 mm machine guns in combination with a combat module, two 12.7 mm machine guns, or a 40 mm grenade launcher. The cruising range is at least 400 miles. The BK-10 carries up to 10 paratroopers and accelerates to 40 knots (about 74 km/h).
The Khaska-10 was created in cooperation with the Krylov State Research Center and is a universal platform with interchangeable modules – a passenger cabin, a medical unit, or rescue equipment. The hovercraft is capable of carrying up to 10 tons of cargo, developing 40 knots, and operating at temperatures down to minus 40 degrees Celsius. Flexible skegs adapt to the surface, ensuring movement in hummocks and the surf zone, which makes the Khaska-10 an alternative to aviation for supplying remote areas of the Far North, Siberia, and the Far East.
