A new regular river route for planning trips around Moscow has appeared in Yandex Maps. It runs between the "Luzhniki" and "Kiyevsky" piers, and users can track the movement of electric vessels in real time and see when they will arrive at the desired stop.
The new line passes through three districts of the capital – Khamovniki, Ramenki, and Dorogomilovo. The route length is about 5 km, and the journey from one terminal pier to another takes 35 minutes.
To build a route by river, you need to open the public transport mode in Yandex Maps and select "Water transport" in the settings.
The service also allows you to create combined routes. For example, part of the journey can be traveled by metro or ground transport, and then transfer to a vessel.
In the future, two more stops are planned to open on the new line – "Vorobyovskaya Embankment" and "Novodevichy Ponds". After launch, they will also appear in Yandex Maps.
