The new GAC S9 hybrid crossover for the Russian market will be equipped with Yandex services on its built-in screen. The Russian premiere of the model will take place on June 19, 2026.
One of the main features of the GAC S9 for the Russian market will be the integrated Yandex Auto platform. It will complement the car's own digital system and combine navigation, music, and entertainment services.
Yandex Maps, Yandex Music, and Yandex Books will be available in the car. All applications can be accessed through a single Yandex ID account.
Settings, music playlists, and audiobook listening progress will be synchronized between the car and the user's other devices. For example, an audiobook started on a smartphone can be continued in the car.
Yandex Maps will also show the signals of the nearest traffic lights along the route and the time until they switch, if the traffic light is equipped with a timer. The service also takes this data into account when building a route.
The GAC S9 is a premium crossover with a REEV series hybrid powertrain. The car received two electric motors – one on each axle – as well as adaptive suspension. The crossover accelerates to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds.
