Domestic "Elbrus" Processor to be Installed in Robots: Rostec Module Receives Russian Status

The single-board computer will replace foreign controllers in onboard systems and workshops

The "Rosel" holding of the Rostec state corporation has received domestic product status for its E2C3-COM processor module. As reported by the holding's press service, this is an embedded industrial single-board computer built on the basis of the Russian "Elbrus-2S3" processor. The processor core, peripheral interface controllers, video controller, and RAM are integrated on a single board.

The module is designed for harsh operating conditions and is intended for industrial automation, robotics, onboard systems, and communication equipment. The integrated graphics core allows the product to be used in information display systems. The operating system is also entirely domestic.

In fact, "Rosel" has created a universal computing node that can become a standard "brain" for workshop robots and onboard electronics. The status of a domestic product opens access to government orders and subsidy programs, which will accelerate the replacement of imported industrial controllers.
