The company "Rosveksel", established with the participation of the Ministry of Finance, PSB and A7 company, has launched a digital platform for buying physical gold. The minimum entry threshold is 1 gram. An investor can either take the bars or leave them for storage in the state infrastructure.
Technologically, the platform operates on the infrastructure of PSB and A7 – the same one used for interbank settlements. This means that operations with physical metal take place in a secure digital banking-level environment. The key innovation is a built-in mechanism to protect against short-term price drops immediately after a transaction. There are no analogues to it on the Russian market.
The launch of the platform transforms precious metal from a heavy asset with a high entry threshold into an accessible digital tool that can be bought as easily as a product on a marketplace.
