Trams from Belarusian "BKM Holding" to operate on high-speed line in Chelyabinsk

"Avtotechkomplekt" company won the tender for the supply of 12 low-floor three-section cars

New rolling stock will be acquired for the high-speed underground-surface light rail transport (LRT, metro tram) under construction in Chelyabinsk. The tender was won by "Avtotechkomplekt" company (Dzerzhinsk). This is confirmed by data on the public procurement portal.

"Avtotechkomplekt" is the official dealer of Belarusian "BKM Holding". The contractor must supply 12 low-floor three-section cars by the end of 2026. The contract value is almost 2.46 billion rubles.

The Belarusian holding, within the framework of the contract, can provide three-section cars of model T856. Their frame is made of steel with increased corrosion resistance. This increases the service life.

The cars can be additionally equipped with an automatic fire extinguishing system, air conditioners for the cabin and driver's cab, a video surveillance system, Wi-Fi and GPS.
