Inokhodets Reconnaissance Drone Faces Problem Due to 4 Kh-BPLA Missiles

Ammunition will be insufficient for swarm drone attacks

The Inokhodets reconnaissance and strike drone is capable of effectively combating uncrewed boats. However, the drone's ammunition load is limited to only four Kh-BPLA missiles, which reduces its capabilities in repelling massive attacks, according to analysts from the "Voennaya Khronika" Telegram channel.

According to their assessment, such a quantity of ammunition may be insufficient for prolonged operations or countering group targets.

As a solution, analysts proposed integrating compact S-8L guided missiles with semi-active laser guidance into the Inokhodets' arsenal. This would increase the drone's overall ammunition load due to their smaller size.

It should be noted that Kh-BPLA missiles are equipped with a semi-automatic laser-beam guidance system with a range of up to 10 km. The range of the S-8L is only 6 km, but it weighs only 15 kg instead of 50 kg for the Kh-BPLA.
