T-34, "Katyusha" and Armored Personnel Carriers Led the Mechanized Column of the Victory Parade in Yekaterinburg

More than 1,600 participants and historical armored vehicles marched across the city's main square

In Yekaterinburg, on May 9, the Victory Parade took place without modern military equipment from the Central Military District units – for the first time in many years. According to local media, citing correspondents, the mechanized column consisted exclusively of vehicles from the Great Patriotic War. At the same time, the foot formations – more than 1,600 people – marched in full strength.

The mechanized column opened with a T-34 flamethrower tank and included a T-70B light tank, a SU-100 self-propelled gun, a BA-10M armored car, a BM-13N "Katyusha" multiple rocket launcher, a ZiS-5 truck with a Z-15-4 anti-aircraft searchlight, and a BTR-40 armored personnel carrier. The procession was closed by a GAZ M-20 "Pobeda".
