KAMAZ demonstrated the operation of Russia's most powerful tow truck: 60 tons towed and 50 tons on the boom

The four-axle giant on a K5 generation chassis can rescue even multi-ton road trains from ditches

KAMAZ, together with the company "Kuzovostroitel", demonstrated the capabilities of the country's highest-capacity tow truck: the new product took to city roads. The machine, created on the basis of the four-axle KAMAZ-65951 chassis of the new K5 generation, is designed to transport super-heavy loads weighing up to 60 tons.

To effectively distribute the load when working with heavy equipment, engineers increased the wheelbase by 1130 millimeters. The tow truck is equipped with two working bodies: the underlift is designed for 30 tons, and the boom for 50 tons. A special K-32T setting is installed for working with super-heavy equipment.

"Kuzovostroitel" specializes in individual solutions for complex evacuation tasks. The new model is designed for cases where ordinary tow trucks are powerless - for example, when multi-ton trucks overturn or in accidents on federal highways.
