The passenger electric vessel "Peterhof" of the "Moscow 2.0" project was launched in Leningrad Oblast. After testing, the vessel will be handed over to the customer for operation on passenger routes.
The Emperium shipyard manufactured the vessel for State Transport Leasing Company (GTLC) for VodokhodЪ. Passenger Port. The electric vessel "Peterhof" became the second serial vessel of this project this year.
The double-deck motor ship is designed for 140 passengers. It is equipped with enclosed lounges and open promenade areas. In fully electric mode, the vessel can operate for up to eight hours, and the hybrid propulsion system extends its autonomy to 20 hours.
"Moscow 2.0" – this new model of electric vessels was created by the design bureau of the private shipbuilding enterprise Emperium. In 2024, construction of the first vessel of this project began. In essence, it is a modernized electric version of the "Moscow" R-51 motor ship, which became a successful project in Soviet times and was represented in many cities across the country.
