Russian rugged smartphone MIG A65 without Google services released for retail

The device runs on "Red OS M" and is designed for extreme conditions

The smartphone, previously sold only to companies, is now available for regular retail purchase. We are talking about the rugged MIG A65 model – a device designed for operation in difficult conditions and running on the domestic "Red OS M" system. Mobile Inform Group announced the start of sales.

MIG A65 is a rugged smartphone: it is not afraid of water and dust (IP68), withstands drops from a height of up to 1.5 meters, and operates at temperatures from minus 20℃ to plus 60℃.

Depending on the configuration, the device can be equipped with a built-in 2D scanner for working with markings and codes. Other features include:

  • 6.56-inch screen with 1612×720 pixel resolution;
  • triple main camera with 48, 8, and 2 MP;
  • 32 MP front camera.

The smartphone runs on a MediaTek Helio G99 (MT6789) processor, is equipped with 8 GB of RAM, and a 128 or 256 GB storage drive. The battery capacity is 5800 mAh. NFC, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo are supported.

There are also two programmable hardware buttons for quick access to applications and functions.

The device runs on "Red OS M", which supports domestic information security tools and does not contain Google services. Applications are installed via the pre-installed RuStore.
