Beeline operator warned subscribers in Moscow about possible restrictions on mobile internet and SMS from May 5 to May 9. Corresponding notifications have already started to reach users.
The company clarifies that disruptions may be related to ensuring security during the preparation and conduct of festive events. Restrictions may affect both data transmission and sending text messages.
To minimize inconvenience, the operator recommends using Wi-Fi for internet access, and for voice communication – VoLTE technology, which allows making calls over the LTE network without switching to other standards.
Such measures are temporary and are applied during periods of increased load and enhanced security requirements.
