A huge column of new Malva self-propelled artillery systems for the military was shown on video

Footage of a railway train carrying combat systems was posted online

A batch of the latest 2S43 Malva self-propelled artillery systems was sent to the Russian military. Footage of a railway train carrying the combat systems has appeared online.

Exactly when and where the video was made is unknown.

To recall, the 2S43 Malva is a combat strike system based on the BAZ-6910-027 Voshchina vehicle chassis. The system is equipped with a 152 mm 2A64 rifled howitzer. The developers abandoned the turret, making the self-propelled gun lighter. It can now be transferred to the combat area by Il-76 military transport aircraft.

The Malva is capable of firing upgraded ZOF95 Krasnopol-M2 active-rocket guided artillery shells at ranges of up to 40 km.

Military journalist Kirill Fyodorov warned about a critical flaw of the Malva. Because of the strong barrel recoil during firing, the batteries quickly become unusable.
