Pavel Durov, founder of Telegram

Durov admitted that in the 1990s he was interested in creating music in programs like FruityLoops. Now he has decided to revive this hobby, but using modern tools and artificial intelligence. He will publish his new compositions under the artistic pseudonym "Durikovich".

Earlier, Durov claimed that, despite the ban on the messenger in Russia, 65 million Russians continue to use it daily through VPN, while more than 50 million send messages every day. According to him, attempts to block VPN led to a large-scale failure in the banking system — cash briefly became the only method of payment across the country. Durov compared the situation with Iran, where Telegram was banned several years ago. There, according to him, the government expected citizens to switch to domestic messengers with surveillance functions, but instead saw VPN become widespread.
