The Bespilotnye Sistemy Group of Companies is ready to offer Malaysia localization of production for the Supercam line of unmanned aerial vehicles. This was stated by the developer's official representative, Ekaterina Zgirovskaya.
Zgirovskaya recalled that Malaysia is implementing the Malaysia Drone Technology Action Plan for 2022-2030. Its goal is to make the country a center for the development and deployment of unmanned technologies in Southeast Asia. To implement this program, drones such as the Supercam S350 will be useful for Malaysia.
At present, land borders are patrolled by manned helicopters. And UAVs are definitely a more modern and cost-effective way of carrying out such tasks.
The Supercam S350 can patrol the South China Sea and provide fire safety. The Supercam SX350 tiltrotor performs similar tasks as well, Zgirovskaya added.
The use of drones to monitor maritime areas is relevant for all ASEAN states. The Bespilotnye Sistemy Group of Companies could supply its products to countries with which Russia cooperates, she concluded.
