The most popular AI service in Russia has become Yandex's "Alisa AI," which confidently outpaced both DeepSeek and ChatGPT. These findings were revealed by a study from "Bilayn.analitika," conducted on the basis of aggregated anonymized data for the first quarter of 2026.
According to the study results, the share of "Alisa AI" amounted to 67% — a confident first place. DeepSeek came in second with 29%, while ChatGPT took third place with 7%.
Today, every ninth Russian already uses artificial intelligence. At the same time, the main audience is concentrated in major cities — Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Novosibirsk, and Krasnodar.
The most active AI users turned out to be people aged 35–55. Moreover, there are more men among them than women — 57% versus 43%.
Preferences also differ. Among men, GitHub Copilot, Claude AI, and Perplexity AI are popular. Among women, Character.AI is the leader.
Users of neural networks are more likely to play online games, watch digital television, read e-books, and actively use cloud services, the study says.
As for gadgets, most neural network users choose Apple devices (27.1%), Samsung (16.9%), and Xiaomi (16.9%).
