The latest iOS 26.4.1 update has turned into problems for users: massive cases are recorded throughout Russia when iPhones stop working after a night update.
The scenario is the same. At night, the device automatically starts the installation, but the process fails. By morning, it freezes on the Apple logo and completely blocks access. The smartphone seems to be "stuck" in the update and no longer turns on.
Service centers are already recording an influx of requests. Experts say directly: such an iPhone can only be revived by reflashing in recovery mode. This means one thing — all data on the device is erased irrevocably.
The problem is that the user does not control the process in any way: the update starts by itself while the owner is sleeping. And if something goes wrong, in the morning he gets a non-working phone.
Experts advise to urgently disable automatic updates and be sure to make backups. Similar failures have already occurred in previous versions of iOS, but now the complaints have become widespread.
