Rostec engineers have created a unified line of warheads for drones. The products are already being used by Russian operators of FPV drones, bomber drones, multicopters, and loitering munitions in real combat conditions, the state corporation's press service reported.
UAVs with new warheads effectively hit armored vehicles, command posts, air defense systems and other military targets of the enemy. For example, servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces use thermobaric fragmentation munitions for FPV drones. They destroy enemy manpower within a radius of 10 m from the point of detonation.
Such a simultaneous armor-piercing, high-explosive, fragmentation and incendiary effect allows the operator to hit almost any target on the battlefield with drones of the same type.
Multifactorial combat loads affect the target with a cumulative jet, explosion and fragments, and can also set it on fire.
In addition, Rostec has developed factory resets (a mechanical device that separates the warhead from the UAV at the moment of attack) for fragmentation drones. Fuses with two degrees of protection are suspended on drones, with their help it is possible to eliminate unarmored or lightly armored vehicles.
