The company "Power Machines" has completed the production and is preparing to ship a high-pressure cylinder for the modernization of the K-330 steam turbine, which is installed at power unit No. 3 of the Iriklinskaya GRES, owned by the company "Inter RAO - Electric Power Generation Management."
The unit will be the final element in a series of deliveries for the modernization of the unit. Previously, a medium-pressure cylinder, a flow path, a low-pressure rotor, and a TVV-350-2U3 turbogenerator had already been delivered to the station. After assembly and commissioning, the power of the power unit will increase from 300 to 330 megawatts.
Engineers at "Power Machines" have applied new design solutions that will reduce the consumption of standard fuel. This will increase the economic efficiency of the station and reduce operating costs. The equipment is designed for long-term service in base load mode.
Previously, power unit No. 4 was modernized using turbines from "Power Machines". The first unit of the station is also being prepared for reconstruction. All work is being carried out within the framework of the state program for the modernization of thermal power plants — KOMMod.
