The Russian messenger Max has gone to space — the service is already being used on the International Space Station. This was announced by the head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Bakanov, during Space Week.
According to him, communication via Max is not an experiment, but already a working tool: more than 1000 messages have been sent from orbit to Earth. The messenger is used for operational communication between the crew and ground services.
Currently, cosmonaut and Hero of Russia Sergei Kud-Sverchkov is also working through Max — he communicates with the press service of Roscosmos directly from the ISS.
If the practice takes hold, Max may become one of the standard communication tools in orbit — along with professional systems, but in a more user-friendly format.
