Monitoring services based on "ERA-GLONASS" have been included in the so-called "white lists" of telecom operators — now they will continue to work even with restrictions on mobile internet.
This refers to a system to which more than half a million vehicles are connected throughout Russia. Primarily, this includes public transport, forestry equipment, small aviation, carriers of dangerous goods, and drone owners.
In fact, this means that critical transport monitoring will not "fail" during communication interruptions — movement data will continue to be transmitted to government agencies and control systems.
Data from tens of thousands of companies pass through the "ERA-GLONASS" platform daily: information goes to the systems of Rostransnadzor, Rosleskhoz, regional and municipal platforms, as well as to the carriers themselves.
JSC "GLONASS" emphasizes that this decision allows maintaining the manageability of transport infrastructure even in conditions of limited access to mobile internet — especially in segments where safety directly depends on communication.
