The newest kamikaze drone "Knyaz Vladimir Svyatoslavovich" has been tested in real combat conditions. This was reported by the designer who worked in the development team.
The engineer stated that this is "a fundamentally new product". The loitering munition is used in a number of units of the Russian Armed Forces for "testing solutions."
The system continues to evolve: new functions are being added, including target acquisition by image and homing even in the event of a loss of radio signal.
According to him, mass production of the drone will be launched in the near future. The developer also expects to sign a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for the supply of the "Knyaz Vladimir Svyatoslavovich" loitering munition to the troops.
The new drone will be able to work in tandem with the FPV drone "Knyaz Vandal Novgorodsky". The strike drone, developed at the SPC "Ushkuynik", was first used in combat in 2024. In 2026, the production volume of "Knyaz Vandal" will increase.
