NSTU NETI Students Develop "Quiet Corner" App for Introverts - Searching for Quiet Places by Noise Level and Traffic

The service will allow you to choose quiet locations for work and leisure

Students of Novosibirsk State Technical University NETI are working on the mobile application "Quiet Corner" for lovers of quiet pastime. This was reported by the press service of the university. The application is planned to be launched first in establishments near Novosibirsk universities, then expand the geography. The service is under development, the release date is not named.

According to the developers' idea, the user will be able to select a location by noise level, accessibility and traffic, as well as based on ratings and reviews, and then book a place for the desired date and time. At the start, it is planned to charge a small percentage for booking, in the future, paid subscriptions are provided.

The developers hope to unite partner establishments into a single ecosystem: users only need to register on one platform to book places even in establishments without their own recording systems. At the same time, another team of NSTU NETI students is working on the Eventra application — an aggregator of city events on an interactive map.
