Engineers of the volunteer association "Technofront Rusvesny" continue to develop a line of ammunition for UAVs. The next development, created at the direct request of the military, is an enlarged body for mini-bombs, which received the working title OFSP-2. The product took a niche between the well-established "mini-FAB" and the recent analogue OFSP 1.7. The main difference is the increased weight of about two kilograms and a larger internal volume, which allows you to lay more striking composition or thermobaric mixture.
The new body has a diameter of 70 millimeters with a length of 250 millimeters. The total volume of the product is 700 cubic centimeters, of which 350 are allocated for the pocket for striking elements. The design provides for unified covers for UDZ and UZRGM, and special recesses are made on the body itself so that the ties do not slip during fixation.
The volunteer association "Technofront Rusvesny" has been developing and sending ammunition bodies since 2022. In 2023, the first products began to be transferred to the troops, which in the environment of drone operators were unofficially nicknamed "mini-FAB-500". The bodies are made by 3D printing, followed by filling with a plastic explosive. Over time, the design has undergone several stages of refinement. The key update was version 2.0, in which a pocket for striking elements and a threaded connection of the cover instead of latching appeared. This simplified assembly, increased tightness and significantly increased the effectiveness of ammunition. To date, the association has sent tens of thousands of products to the military.
