"AI seedlings" may be banned from sale due to fraudsters

Buyers are increasingly receiving empty packages instead of unusual plants

In Russia, online fraudsters are selling seeds of "unusual" plants created using neural networks, a source in the industry told the Telegram channel "SHOT Verification." Photos show purple strawberries, blue roses, and strawberry trees, but in fact, buyers receive either empty packages or ordinary weeds. After delivery, the fraudsters cease all contact.

According to experts, pensioners are particularly vulnerable to this fraud scheme, spending their savings on "exotic" novelties but ending up with no money or harvest. Experts warn that such technologies do not help people but only create new ways to deceive consumers.

It is recommended to check the seller and not be swayed by overly bright promises in online stores to avoid losing funds.
