The Rosel holding, which is part of the Rostec State Corporation, has launched mass production of domestic DC/DC converters — components that reduce and stabilize voltage in electrical circuits. The devices are designed for use in telecommunications equipment, special communications, and computing equipment. The new converters are a functional pin-to-pin analogue of the products of the Swiss company TRACO POWER — one of the world's leading manufacturers of power components, whose products have become unavailable to Russian enterprises after 2022.
DC/DC Converters "Rosel": Where They Are Used and What They Replace
A DC/DC converter is an electronic circuit that converts direct current from one voltage to another and stabilizes it. Such components are needed wherever one device requires several voltage levels simultaneously: LEDs, processors, USB outputs, communication modules. In telecommunications equipment and special communications, they provide protection against voltage surges and smooth out overloads.
Before the launch of the Rosel series, Russian manufacturers of electronic equipment were forced to use imported analogues — mainly products from TRACO POWER and other European and American suppliers.
