Production of the Evolute i-Jet electric crossover suspended in the Lipetsk region

Motorinvest will focus on the more affordable I-Space and I-Joy models

The Russian car assembly company Motorinvest has suspended the production and sales of the Evolute i-Jet electric crossover in the Lipetsk region, according to Evolute's Public Relations Director Elizaveta Khmeleva.

We have currently suspended the assembly of this model, as our focus is on affordable and mass-market Evolute models, and the assembly line is currently occupied with them.

The models in question are the Evolute I-Space and I-Joy. At the same time, Khmeleva found it difficult to answer the question about the future of the i-Jet.

She did not rule out that due to the new rates of the recycling fee, the production of cars of this power may not be in demand in the Russian market. Hybrids, not pure electric vehicles, are popular in this segment, Khmeleva concluded.

Evolute i-Jet is a premium electric crossover. It is equipped with two electric motors with a total power of 585 hp. The electric car accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, and the maximum speed is 200 km/h.
