At the machine-building production facility of the R-Flot Group of Companies, construction continues on two multifunctional dredgers of Project 2040 (factory numbers MFZ-02 and MFZ-03). The company has shown interim results.
On both vessels, the fitting-out of the hulls with welded components has already been completed and mooring equipment has been installed. On dredger MFZ-03, fuel tanks have additionally been installed, the structure of all compartments has been checked, and watertightness tests have been carried out.
At the same time, the company's specialists travel to suppliers' production sites to monitor the quality and manufacturing timelines of equipment and components.
