A new assembly and testing complex of the Zelenograd Nanotechnology Center (ZNTC) has opened in the special economic zone "Technopolis Moscow." The enterprise, with a capacity of up to 200,000 microchips per month, will produce and test complex electronic component base, including developments from Russian design centers, according to Moscow Deputy Mayor Maxim Liksutov.
The company's investment in the project, which created 25 new jobs, exceeded 300 million rubles.
The new complex will accelerate the market launch of strategically important products. A key area is the introduction of microchip assembly technology in polymer packages. This will allow the creation of domestic high-performance processors and specialized modules for data processing centers, telecommunications, and aviation.
The second strategic direction is the production of high-voltage and microwave electronics based on gallium nitride on silicon. This material is used in new generation microchips for power supplies, charging stations, 5G base stations, and electric transport.
