Replacing Foreign Equipment: Rosel Creates the "Samarets" Fail-Safe Radio Transmitter

The device is completely domestic and in terms of characteristics is not inferior to foreign analogues

The Rosel holding (part of Rostec) has developed a line of fail-safe FM-band radio broadcasting transmitters called "Samarets." The devices are completely domestic and in terms of characteristics are not inferior to foreign analogues, which they are designed to replace, the company said.

All the main elements are already integrated into the design: an audio processor with a limiter and clipper, an RDS encoder, AES3/EBU and TOSLINK digital interfaces. The modular architecture allows you to abandon expensive external equipment and gradually upgrade the transmitter to suit the customer's needs.

The "Samarets" is equipped with a multi-level protection system that monitors the technical condition of the device. If the main audio channel fails, the equipment automatically switches broadcasting to the backup channel and turns on content playback from a USB drive. The equipment can be controlled remotely from anywhere in the world.

The line includes four modifications with a power of 100 to 1000 W, all operating in the range of 87.5–108.0 MHz and supporting stereo and mono broadcasting.

The modular architecture allows you to upgrade the product when the need arises, which saves the customer from having to overpay for excessive functionality at the start.
